Asset Build is built to keep your financial data private and help you stay on top of gold prices and portfolio moves without noise. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect only the details required to operate your account and deliver the core wealth tracking features.
- Profile data from Google OAuth such as name, email address, and avatar.
- Gold, equity, and mutual fund positions that you add manually or sync from Zerodha.
- Device metadata (browser, operating system, timestamp) recorded for sign-in security logs.
How we use your information
Your data stays within the Asset Build platform and is used strictly to provide and enhance the service you signed up for.
- Authenticate you across web and native applications via NextAuth.
- Maintain dashboards, analytics, and alerts that reflect your holdings and price movements.
- Sync and refresh market prices through automated daily cron jobs.
- Monitor abuse, secure sessions, and improve reliability through aggregated analytics.
Third-party integrations
We rely on trusted partners to handle sign-in and brokerage connectivity. Their access is limited to the scopes you explicitly approve.
- Google OAuth provides single sign-on. We do not store your Google password.
- Zerodha access tokens (if connected) are encrypted at rest and used solely to retrieve holdings on your behalf.
- Kerala gold price feeds are pulled daily to update valuation metrics; no personal data is shared during this process.
Data storage & security
All personal and investment information is stored in secure databases hosted on managed infrastructure. We apply least-privilege access, encrypted connections, and rotating credentials to protect your account.
We never sell or rent your personal data and only disclose it when required by law or to prevent fraud.
Your choices
You control the data you share with us. You can disconnect integrations, delete investments, or close your account at any time.
- Manage synced brokers from the Zerodha connection page.
- Remove any asset entries directly from their respective dashboards.
- Request full account deletion by contacting us at contact@assetbuild.in.
Retention
Account data is retained while your account remains active. When you request deletion, we purge personal identifiers and investment records from active systems and backups within 30 days unless legal obligations require a longer period.
